If you searched for “old BOM radar” because you want a familiar place to check rain, open the radar using the links above. Atmosphr pairs recent radar history with hourly and seven-day model forecasts.
The Bureau’s current website remains the place to check official radar products and warnings. Atmosphr offers its own classic-style viewer with familiar playback controls and separate links to official BOM information.

Check the time before the colours

No. Atmosphr is a separate weather demonstration. RainViewer supplies the displayed composite and lists BOM as its Australian source. The official BOM radar service is linked above.
Can I see radar for Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne?
The location shortcuts open the same map centred on your chosen city. Images depend on the provider’s current coverage and availability.
Is this an archive of old radar images?
No. The playback covers frames in the current feed. Atmosphr does not offer a date-searchable historical radar archive.
Looking for Mt Stapylton, Marburg or a 256 km BOM loop?
The Brisbane and Gold Coast pages offer a familiar loop and selectable view widths. The width is the area shown on the map, not the range of a named BOM radar station. Atmosphr uses a RainViewer composite; for station-specific imagery use the official BOM radar map.
