About Atmosphr
Clear weather views. Clear sources.
Atmosphr is an independent Australian weather website. It brings together a weather dashboard, a classic radar layout and practical guides for everyday planning.
What you are looking at
| View | Source and limits |
|---|---|
| Forecast and wind | Model estimates via the Atmosphr gateway and Open-Meteo. They are not on-site observations. |
| Rain radar | Recent historical composite imagery supplied through RainViewer, with source timestamps. Atmosphr is independent of BOM. |
| Sea-level view | Model sea-level guidance. It is not a published astronomical tide table. |
| Warnings | Links to the official issuing authorities. These guides are not a live warning feed. |
How the guides are prepared
The weather planning guides added in September 2026 were prepared with AI assistance using linked primary sources and checks against the available Atmosphr features. They are general explanations, not a meteorologist’s forecast or an engineering approval. Each guide identifies its reference sources and content review date.
Forecast timestamps belong to the data being displayed. A guide’s review date does not mean that a forecast or warning has just been updated. Page dates change when the content is substantively reviewed.
